Torontonian Laura Berg has been declared "Mom Entrepreneur of the Year" by Canadian online webzine
SavvyMom. Berg is the founder of
My Smart Hands, a Toronto company that teaches parents how to use sign language to communicate with their pre-verbal hearing babies.
"This award and the prizes that go along with it could not have come at a better time," said Berg on winning the national business award from SavvyMom Media, now in its fourth year."
