Multicultural Brampton is the third largest city in the Greater Toronto Area and has experience rapid growth in the last few decades. Once known for its small town rural setting, Brampton has become a centre for several economic sectors, including information and communication technologies, life sciences and business services. Brampton's downtown and surrounding district still retains a traditional streetscape, complete with Go Train station for easy connections to the rest of the GTA. The new Rose Theatre, recently opened next to its historic counterpart, aims to make Brampton a fun and creative hub.
